Welcome to our Travel Site!
We are Mark and Valerie, and we got married last year on July 4, 2009. Beginning March 22, 2010, it's finally time to take our honeymoon, and we've created this website to allow our families and friends to keep track of us! We've got 101 days to visit some of our top dream destinations (i.e. if I could go anywhere, I'd go... [insert your favorite place here]) before finally landing at our new home in New York City...
We've booked our round-the-world tickets - the most complicated single plane ticket we've ever booked! Our route: JFK - PEK - HKG - SGN - overland - PNH - DEL - overland - BOM - JNB - WDH - overland - LVI - TLV - IST - ATH - lots of overland - LIS.
Or, for those of you who have not spent 4 weeks bartering with travel agents and airlines, a translation: New York - Beijing - Hong Kong - Ho Chi Minh City - overland - Phnom Penh - New Delhi - overland - Mumbai - Johannesburg - Windhoek (Namibia) - overland via Botswana - Livingstone (Zambia) - Tel Aviv - Istanbul - Athens - lots of overland including Greek Islands, Southern France etc. - Lisbon.
